What Not to Wear

Who doesn't love this show? Deciding what to wear is key, but sometimes to do this, you have to have the knowledge to know what NOT to wear. Stacey has a great fashion sense and knows how to bring out her personality through style. Clinton can mix patterns yet rock any look at the same time. Yet, both of these hosts can boost anyone's self esteem within the blink of an eye. In a typical episode of what not to wear, they will have friends nominate a person to be on the show. (This show is on TLC most weekdays, if you want to watch it. New episodes on Thursdays at 10PM Pacific time.) To nominate someone to be on the show, they need to have a bland, boring, or just totally out of it fashion sense. The friend that nominates them has to video tape them for 10 weeks, where they are and what they choose to wear. Then, they look at some of their outfits that they are not supposed to wear, but do. They have them try on some things and make them reflect off of their personality. They also get a free makeover for hair and makeup, but before they do this, they get $5,000 to go on a shopping spree, after Stacey and Clinton have thrown away all of their wardrobe. All of this can be overwhelming for one human being, but every Thursday, it's worth seeing them after the time they had with Stacey and Clinton. Their self esteem is boosted and their fashion sense is pro.
