Lighter Hair Tutorial - For Brunettes, Dark Browns, and Blondes!

How to Make Your Hair Blonder - For Blondes, of Course!

Step 1 - Get plenty of sun.
Sun makes blondes' hair a lot lighter. If you are going to the pool, dunk your head in the pool and let it dry in the sun. This is the reason why some peoples' hair turns lighter in the summer.

Step 2 - Buy hair lighters.
No, not the lighters I am thinking of, the blonde ones. This will lighten blondes' hair and work with the sun! This does not come out, but your hair will definitely be lighter. If you hair is brown or dark brown, do not use this. It will create orange streaks!

Step 3 - Lemon juice.
This will lighten your hair, but it will do the same thing to brunettes as the hair lighters. Your hair will become red or orange, be careful! Do not use large amounts of lemon juice, or your hair will dry out. You can occasionally use it and I recommend not using it every day.

Step 4 - The old trick!
If you have dirty blonde hair and want it lighter, use this trick I found online! Mix a half cup of water, shampoo, and lemon juice together. Be sure to mix it very well. Put it in a spray bottle and use this spray every morning on your hair. Spray your hair until it is a little damp, not soaking! Do this every morning until this liquid remedy is out. You will notice your hair getter brighter and lighter! This is also great for thickening hair too! Enjoy!

How to Make Brunette Hair Lighter - For Brunettes!

Step 1 - Spend lots of time in the sun.
Be sure to wear sunscreen, don't forget about skin! Find a spot that is enjoyable yet also contains a direct and equal amount of sun with no uneven shading or lighting. You may want to lie down and spread your hair out while doing this, beautiful brunette!

Step 2 - Mix some lemon juice and water and lather it on your hair.
You may want to just squeeze some juice out of the lemon. Doing both of these steps, you will see results in a couple of weeks. You may also want to go in the sun while lemon is in your hair. Your hair will get lighter, and you may see some highlights that appear to make the brunette shinier.

Step 3 - Black Tea Method!
Brew some black tea. Let it cool, and soak your hair in it. Keep reading, because, before doing this make sure that if your hair is already light, this could possibly end up darkening it.

Step 4 - Repeat for days.
You will see results in a couple of weeks. Your brunette hair will look natural, lighter, and highlighted!

How to Make Dark Brown or Black Hair Lighter - For Dark-Haired Girls!

Step 1 - Tea or Parsley Bags Method!
Drain out some tea or parsley bags. Let it cool to room temperature. Place the remedy in a spray bottle and spray every day until the bottle is empty. You need to just spray it on your hair until your hair is damp, but not soaking. You will see results when you are finished and the bottle is empty.

Step 2 -  Sun!
Sit in the sun and allow your hair to dry if you want more dramatic lightening. You can do this while the remedy in the spray bottle is still in your hair for brighter or lighter results.

Step 3 - Rinse!
Remember to eventually rinse the solution out of your hair after a few minutes. You can be in the sun for that amount of time. The lemon process (shown above) requires to leave it in as long as desired, but remember to take it out at least the day you put it in. Be confident in your hair and take pride in it. Know that you can always change the color, and today is never too late to be brand knew. ;) XOXO <3
